In honor of Environment Day, the Donetsk Regional Palace of Children’s and Youth Creativity organized a regional photo exhibition titled “The Beauty of the Environment in Moments,” which brought together over 1,200 students from extracurricular and general secondary education institutions across the Donetsk region.
The initiative aimed to draw young people’s attention to environmental issues and foster a responsible attitude toward the environment. Through their camera lenses, the young artists captured the beauty of their native nature, demonstrating a sincere concern for its preservation.
The event program included artistic photography of landscapes, macro photography of flora and fauna, and practical environmental activities: participants cleaned riverbanks of trash, planted trees and flowers, and tended to green spaces.
In addition to photographs, the children prepared themed drawings and creative crafts highlighting the importance of preserving natural resources for future generations.
