Once again, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has helped communities in Donetsk Oblast to become more resilient in the face of military action and adverse weather conditions.
In particular, five communities in Donetsk Oblast received 15 charging stations to ensure the uninterrupted operation of resilience centers during emergency and planned power outages.
In addition, the Druzhkivka city community received four generators, which will increase the energy autonomy of critical infrastructure facilities and enable a rapid response to emergencies caused by enemy shelling.
The assistance provided is a significant contribution to supporting communities in the Donetsk region and helps to ensure the stable operation of local government bodies in the context of ongoing security challenges.
The assistance received is not exhaustive, and we look forward to further cooperation with UNHCR.
