The Sheptytskyi People's House hosted a concert entitled "Together on New Year's Eve," which was attended by local residents and adults and children from Donetsk region who are temporarily living in the community.
As part of the "Side by Side: United Communities" initiative, aimed at supporting outpost communities and helping IDP families, families were able to attend the performance free of charge and take part in the cultural event.
The event was organized and the families were accompanied by Dmytro Shynkar, head of the Yednannia humanitarian hub. He noted:
"Such events are very important for families who have been forced to leave their homes. They help people, especially children, feel the support of the community, find emotional balance, and at least temporarily distract themselves from difficult circumstances."
The participants of the dance groups and vocal ensembles gave our fellow citizens positive emotions, good mood, and new impressions. The event helped to bring displaced families together, strengthen mutual understanding, and create an atmosphere of support and unity in the community.
