As part of the national program “Side by Side: United Communities,” an online meeting was held between specialists from the Social Protection Department of the Druzhkivka City Council and representatives of the Zhmerynka community.
During the meeting, participants exchanged experiences working with the Centralized Database on Disability Issues. Significant attention was devoted to the practical application of legislative provisions, the organization of document receipt and processing, working with the State Register, as well as issues related to the provision of rehabilitation services to children with disabilities.
They specifically reviewed the procedure for concluding contracts and entering the necessary information into the database, and discussed practical situations requiring coordinated approaches.
This open professional dialogue marked another step toward improving cooperation between communities, enhancing the professional training of specialists, and developing effective solutions in the field of social protection.
Such cooperation helps improve the quality of administrative services, enhance the work of relevant specialists, and ensure the proper implementation of social guarantees for people with disabilities.
