The Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and Chief of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, met with Alhadi Albaridi, Head of the Eastern Office of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), and Pablo de Pascale, Head of the UNICEF Office in Dnipro.

The participants discussed the security and humanitarian situation in the Donetsk region, the evacuation of civilians, and the urgent water supply needs of local communities. Russian attacks continue to destroy homes and critical infrastructure every day, making safe evacuation, shelter, and reliable access to essential services a top priority.

Special attention was given to the development of alternative water supply sources, including drilling wells, providing backup power, water purification, and water delivery. Access to clean water remains a critical necessity under all circumstances, especially in communities located close to the frontline.

"I thank OCHA and UNICEF for delivering humanitarian aid, supporting evacuation efforts, and assisting local communities, healthcare facilities, and critical infrastructure.

We agreed to strengthen our cooperation. In a frontline region, assistance must be delivered quickly and respond to the real needs of people," Vadym Filashkin emphasized.
