The Pension Fund of Ukraine reminds recipients that identity verification helps ensure that pension, insurance, and social benefit payments are delivered to the correct person. If you receive a pension, insurance payments, or social assistance, check whether you need to complete identification this year.
Five Convenient Ways to Complete Identification
1. Online using Diia.Signature
The fastest option. Log in to your personal account on the Pension Fund of Ukraine web portal using Diia.Signature. Your identity will be verified automatically.
2. By Video Call
Submit an application on the Pension Fund's web portal (without logging into your personal account) by selecting "Application for Identification via Video Conference." A Pension Fund specialist will contact you to conduct the video identification session.
3. Through a Ukrainian Diplomatic Mission (for those abroad)
Obtain a certificate confirming that you are alive from a Ukrainian diplomatic mission abroad and submit it to the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
4. In Person
Visit any Pension Fund service center in government-controlled territory of Ukraine. Thanks to the principle of extraterritoriality, you may use the service center most convenient for you, regardless of your place of registration or residence.
5. At an Authorized Bank
Recipients of pensions or other payments made through an authorized bank may complete identification directly at a bank branch by presenting a valid identity document. The bank will carry out the identification procedure and forward the relevant information to the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
How to Check Your Status
Your personal account on the Pension Fund web portal includes the "My Identification" service, where you can view the date of your most recent identity verification.
