One of the greatest values for every child is the love, care, and security that a family provides. It is within the family circle that the basic feelings of trust, support, and confidence in tomorrow are formed.
Unfortunately, not all children have the opportunity to grow up in the warmth of a home and under the care of their loved ones. Therefore, supporting family-type children's homes is an extremely important task that helps create a real family for such children.
Thanks to the assistance of the Velykonovosilkivska settlement military administration and with the support of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, humanitarian aid was provided to the family-type children's home of Olena Mekhedko.
In this large and friendly family, 10 orphans and children deprived of parental care are raised. Due to military actions, the family was forced to leave and now resides in the Ternopil region.
As part of the assistance, the family received necessary items: blankets, mattresses, pillows, sets of bed linen, kitchen utensils, towels — everything that creates comfort and a homely atmosphere.
By caring for children today, we are shaping a responsible society for tomorrow. We sincerely thank our international partners for this important support.
