As part of World Cleanup Day, the “Clean Hearts—Clean Planet” series of outreach campaigns kicked off in Shostka, Sumy Oblast.
The event was organized by the Donetsk Regional Ecology and Nature Center.
During the event, children took part in engaging environmental activities. They created their own drawings on wooden coasters, giving ordinary natural materials a new lease on life and expressing their creativity.
While their creations were drying, the participants moved on to the environmental game “Eco-Rescuers: Find a Solution.” The children examined various environmental problems, discussed possible ways to solve them, and matched problem cards with the corresponding solutions.
