On the third Sunday of June, Ukraine traditionally celebrates Father's Day, a holiday that for the second year in a row unites families, communities, and activists in an all-Ukrainian initiative. This year, territorial communities of the Donetsk region also actively participated in the celebration, holding thematic events that emphasized the extraordinary importance of parental care, encouraged sports, creativity, and strengthened family values.
The celebration of Father's Day in the Donetsk region included various celebration formats: publications with congratulations from dads, online/offline sports competitions, creative master classes "A Gift for a Super Dad", "With Love for Dad", family races and ball games, online presentations: the dance "Little Airplane" and the song "Dad, Play", online broadcast "Coffee with a Poet", photo challenges "My Super Dad" and an online photo exhibition, the event "Courage in the Heart - Love in the Palms", video greetings, offline and online program "Father's Strength: Conversation Without Limits", involving parents of military personnel, farmers, cultural workers and other professions.
Father's Day in 2025 became a powerful platform for uniting the communities of Donetsk region: online challenges, creative competitions, flash mobs, video greetings, offline tournaments - all this demonstrated the importance of family, parental example and the value of supporting each other in difficult times, and to every father - for the love, care and daily support of children.
