The Main Department of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk region has carried out a recalculation of pension payments effective from March 1, 2026.
In accordance with Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 236 dated February 25, 2026, pension payments have been increased by applying a coefficient of 1.121 to the average salary (income) used for pension calculation.
Indexation has been applied to pensions assigned up to December 31, 2025. For pensions granted between 2021–2025, the following indexation coefficients were used:
2021–2022 — 1.061
2023 — 1.048
2024 — 1.036
2025 — 1.024
ℹ️ Pensions assigned from January 1, 2026 were not recalculated, as they are already based on актуальні показники заробітної плати.
📊 Minimum pension guarantees
❗️The Resolution also provides additional guarantees for minimum pension payments:
📌 Persons aged 65+ (non-working, with at least 35 years of service for men and 30 for women) whose pension is below UAH 4,213 receive a monthly top-up to reach this amount.
📌 Persons under 70 years old with sufficient insurance record, as well as persons with Group I disability (regardless of age and service), whose pension is below UAH 3,725, receive a top-up to that level.
📌 Persons aged 70–80 (with sufficient service record) whose pension is below UAH 4,050 receive a monthly supplement.
📌 Persons aged 80+ (with at least 25/20 years of service for men/women) whose pension is below UAH 4,213 receive a top-up to that amount.
📍Other non-working pensioners whose monthly pension is below UAH 3,406 also receive a supplement up to this level.
🔻 For persons aged 70–80 with insufficient service record, the supplement is calculated proportionally based on available service.
💰 Additional payments for elderly pensioners
Monthly компенсаційні виплати remain in place for pensioners aged 70+ if their pension does not exceed UAH 10,340.35:
up to UAH 570 — aged 80+
up to UAH 456 — aged 75–80
up to UAH 300 — aged 70–75

The increase after recalculation is not less than UAH 100 and not more than UAH 2,595
The maximum pension amount cannot exceed UAH 25,950

Recalculated pensions will be paid during March, from the 4th to the 25th.
