A charity concert titled “Step Toward the Light” was held at the Koshmanivka Village House of Culture to mark International Dance Day, bringing together the Mashiv community in Poltava Oblast and the Khlibodarivka community in Donetsk Oblast.
The event took place as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.” Before the concert, Mykhailo Burnadze, head of the Khlibodarivka Village Military Administration, and Serhii Sydorenko, chairman of the Mashivka Village Council, discussed future areas of cooperation, strengthening the partnership, and implementing joint initiatives.
The charity concert was attended by Lilia Zolkina, Head of the Department of Family, Youth, and Mass Events for National-Patriotic Education at the Donetsk Regional State Administration. After the concert program concluded, she addressed the audience with words of gratitude, noting the unity, solidarity, and resilience of the communities during these difficult times.
The audience enjoyed vibrant dance performances by groups from the Vilnensky and Koshmanivsky village cultural centers, as well as performances by creative duos and new bands.
During the event, funds were raised to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the development of dance groups. Together, we are taking steps toward light, unity, and victory.
