Based on the Ukrainian Catholic University, the team from Donetsk National University named after Vasyl Stus underwent training in the module "Human Resource Management" of the professional development program for academic managers – a unique initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, implemented by the British Council as part of the joint project of the Ministry of Education and Science and the World Bank "Improving Higher Education in Ukraine for Results" (Ukraine Improving Higher Education for Results Project – UIHERP).
The module was dedicated to the following issues:
- discussion on policy with the Head of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education Andriy Butenko,
- the basics and key trends in the professional development of employees in higher education institutions in Ukraine,
- managing results and evaluating personnel,
- studying the best Ukrainian practices in human resource management in higher education institutions,
- motivation and engagement of personnel,
- equality of opportunities, inclusion, and well-being.
