The State Educational Institution “Kostiantynivka Higher Vocational School” is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its founding.
The institution’s history dates back to 1926, when a workers’ school was established in Kostiantynivka in conjunction with the metallurgical plant. Over the past century, professions, technologies, and circumstances have changed, but the mission has remained the same: to train qualified specialists and open the way for young people to build their professional careers.
Today, the Kostiantynivka Higher Vocational School is one of the leading vocational education institutions in the Donetsk region. Students proudly represent the school at professional competitions and contests, demonstrating a high level of training.
Despite the full-scale war, the school continues to operate under relocated conditions. With the support of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and the Department of Education and Science, work is already underway in the city of Khust, Zakarpattia Oblast, to create a modern vocational education hub with training and practical centers. Khust will become the institution’s main location, where modern equipment, workshops, and facilities for high-quality training will be concentrated.
100 years—this is a history created by educators, vocational training instructors, staff, students, and alumni.
We congratulate the staff on this anniversary and wish them continued growth, new achievements, and steady progress.
