Published 30 January 2026 year, 13:03

As part of the national project "Side by Side: United Communities," the first online meeting of educators from the Lyman and Kremenchuk communities took place.

The meeting was an important step in establishing inter-municipal cooperation in the field of education and initiated a practical dialogue between teaching staff.

The event was attended by representatives of the Kremenchuk City Council's Department of Education, the Kremenchuk Center for Professional Development of Teachers, heads of educational institutions in Kremenchuk, as well as representatives of the Liman City Council's Department of Education, Youth, and Sports and heads of educational institutions in the Liman community.

At the meeting, community representatives presented their local communities and networks of educational institutions, shared their experiences and achievements, and discussed the challenges they face in the context of full-scale war, particularly with regard to organizing distance learning, retaining staff, and supporting students.

Special attention was paid to discussing prospects for further cooperation: exchange of experience between teachers, joint educational events, methodological support, implementation of joint projects and initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education and psychological support for children.

The meeting participants emphasized the importance of mutual support between communities in today's difficult conditions and expressed their readiness for active and systematic cooperation for the development of the education sector and support for children and teachers in the Lyman region.
