Who knows more about pain and loss than the Donetsk Academic Regional Drama Theater (Mariupol)? A place where civilians sought refuge. A place where “Children” was written. And which was deliberately destroyed. This is a crime that must never be forgotten. About a city that was destroyed along with its people.
In March 2026, during a charity tour of the UK for the play “The Mariupol Drama” in support of the National Children’s Hospital “Okhmatdyt,” approximately 147,000 UAH was raised. The play was performed in London, Exeter, and Liverpool.
This is not just money. It is a response to the pain. It is support for children whose lives have been shattered by war.
At the same time, peaceful memorial events for the victims of the Mariupol tragedy took place in 15 cities across the UK. So that the world does not turn away. So that it remembers.
Every donation is not about numbers, but about children learning to live with injuries and serious illnesses. About pain that does not go away. About a responsibility that cannot be ignored.
We thank our partners in the UK—Kryla Culture, Support Ukraine UK, British Ukrainian Aid, and the Devon Ukrainian Association—for standing by our side.
And we thank every viewer. Because today, support is more than a gesture. It is a stance. It is a choice. It is a response to evil.
