On October 4, residents of the Pokrovska community, who are currently staying in Sheptytskyi, attended a performance of “The Adventures of Cherevychka” as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.”
At the Sheptytskyi People’s House, the Lesya Ukrainka National Music and Drama Theater presented a musical drama based on a work by Oleg Goncharov.
The performance provided an opportunity to enjoy an entertaining evening, relax, and participate in the city’s cultural life. For residents of the Pokrovska community, such gatherings also provide an opportunity to socialize, get to know local residents, and participate in shared events.
“This time, 16 residents of the Pokrovska community took part in the cultural event. Such gatherings give people the chance to spend time together, socialize, and participate in the cultural life of Sheptytsky. It is important that our residents have these opportunities and feel like part of the community that has welcomed them,” said Dmytro Shynkar, head of the “Yednannia” Humanitarian Hub.
