On October 27, 2025, another class was held as part of a free course to prepare for the National Military Test on Ukrainian history, organized by the Center for Unity and National Resistance platform in conjunction with the regional administration's department for family, youth, and mass events of national-patriotic education.
During the meeting, one of the most important topics in Ukrainian history was discussed—the period of the Galicia-Volhynia state and the Mongol invasion, which reveals the peculiarities of the development of Ukrainian lands in the 13th–14th centuries, as well as the influence of external forces on their fate. Students learned about the formation of the Kingdom of Rus, the activities of Princes Roman Mstislavovich and Danylo Halytskyi, the main stages of the Mongol invasion, its consequences for Ukrainian lands and resistance strategies, as well as the socio-economic and cultural features of the region's development under the Mongol-Tatar invasion.
The next class was not just a lecture, but a platform for lively discussions and debates, an opportunity to test their knowledge through interactive exercises and quizzes.
The free preparatory course for the NMT in Ukrainian history is a unique opportunity for young people in Donetsk region to prepare for the exam without financial burden.
