The SMART Youth Center for teenagers hosted an interactive safety quest “Know the Rules of Safe Summer - Earn Respect from Friends,” aimed at developing safe behavior skills and raising youth awareness of potential risks.
The event was conducted by a specialist from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine together with a representative of the public organization “Art of Aid.”
During the quest, participants worked in teams, completed practical tasks, solved situational exercises, and tested their knowledge of basic safety rules. The youth recalled the algorithm of actions in case of detection of explosive objects, repeated the rules of fire safety, safe behavior on water and near railway infrastructure.
The interactive format of the event contributed not only to the consolidation of important knowledge, but also to the development of skills for quick response to potentially dangerous situations and making informed decisions. It is such initiatives that help to form a culture of safety among children and youth.
The event was held within the fourth wave of the summer safety campaign “Rules of a Safe Summer”, which is implemented by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and UNICEF Ukraine with the financial support of the Government of Japan.
