From July 30 to August 3, 2025, youth from the Avdiivka territorial community of Donetsk region joined the All-Ukrainian Training Camp "Army - Shield of Statehood" named after the soldiers of the airborne assault troops and the air force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The camp gathered active youth from Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Donetsk, Cherkasy, Rivne, Kirovohrad, Odessa and Chernihiv regions. From the first hours, the participants plunged into work: they independently set up tents, provided for their daily lives, harvested firewood, and arranged the territory - all this became an integral part of camp life.
The opening of the camp took place in a solemn atmosphere - with the raising of the national flag, honoring the memory of the fallen heroes, taking the oath of allegiance to Ukraine and a formation march in the spirit of the New Ukrainian Army.
The well-coordinated organization of the event, provided by the forces of the Organization of Ukrainian Youth, gave the participants the opportunity to master important skills of modern tactical, medical and military-patriotic training. Of particular interest were practical classes on mine safety, first aid, familiarization with small arms and the basics of tactical actions.
Special attention in the program was paid to the formation of value orientations of youth - freedom, democracy, dignity, which in war conditions acquire special importance.
Participation in the camp became for the youth of the Donetsk region not only an opportunity to temper character, but also an important step towards realizing the role of everyone in building a strong state.
