Within the framework of the project "Code of Restoration: Youth Dimension of Donetsk Region", a series of educational webinars "Keys to Communities" continues, organized by the Youth Council under the Regional State Administration together with the NGO "Nova Druzhkivka".
The first meeting considered the structure and levels of adoption of targeted policies in communities, in particular youth policies. The second webinar will be held on February 27, 2026 at 16:00 in an online format and is dedicated to a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of local democracy and real instruments of influence.
The event will highlight key issues:
* why individual participation tools (petitions, public hearings, working groups) do not always produce the expected results
* how to distinguish real impact from formal imitation of participation
* what algorithms and procedures exist for changing already made decisions
* where and how youth can be most effectively involved in these processes
Special attention will be paid to the analysis of the Charter of a territorial community as the main document regulating the rules of the game in local self-government.
This knowledge will help transform public activism from an emotional process into concrete results that affect the restoration and development of communities in the Donetsk region.
