As part of the regional military-patriotic training program “Warrior Werewolf,” a meeting took place between youth from Donetsk Oblast and Hero of Ukraine and veteran of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Viktor Vsevolodovich Ilchun.
The event was one of the most emotional and meaningful stages of the training program. The young people had a unique opportunity to speak with a man who, through his own example, has proven that courage, honor, and devotion to Ukraine are the highest values.
During the meeting, Viktor Ilchun shared stories from his military service with the participants, recounting his combat experience, his service in the Special Operations Forces, the importance of military brotherhood, the responsibility of every soldier, and the resilience of the Ukrainian people in the struggle for the country’s freedom and independence.
The young people listened with great interest to the Hero of Ukraine and asked questions about military service, moral fortitude, leadership, and personal motivation. This sincere and candid conversation served as a true lesson in patriotism, courage, and love for the Motherland for the children.
Addressing the training participants, Viktor Ilchun emphasized that Ukraine’s future depends on a conscious, educated, and responsible youth. He urged the young men and women to cherish freedom, study diligently, support one another, and be worthy citizens of their country.
Such meetings are of great importance for the national and patriotic education of the younger generation. They foster respect for Ukraine’s defenders, strengthen national consciousness, and inspire young people to take an active civic stance.
