Andriy Naumov, a participant in the regional “Young Person of the Year – 2026” competition in the “Guardian of Resilience” category
Andrii was born and raised in Kurakhove. After completing his education, he returned to his hometown and dedicated himself to the development of the housing and коммунal services sector. Having advanced from a roofer to the director of a municipal enterprise, he gained substantial practical and managerial experience.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Andrii has remained in frontline Kurakhove, coordinating the work of the enterprise under conditions of constant danger. Under his leadership, drinking water delivery to residents was ensured, the consequences of enemy shelling were eliminated, the operation of critical infrastructure was maintained, and assistance to community residents was organized.
The enterprise actively cooperated with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, energy workers, and the military by providing equipment for emergency rescue operations, infrastructure restoration, and the construction of defensive fortifications. Even after the relocation of the community to Dnipro, Andrii continued developing the enterprise and personally participated in strengthening defensive lines in Donetsk region.
His professional activity is an example of responsible leadership, resilience, and dedication to his community. Thanks to people like him, Donetsk region maintains its resilience, the uninterrupted operation of critically important services, and support for Ukrainian defenders even in the most difficult times.
