Dariia Lavreniuk, a participant in the regional “Young Person of the Year 2026” competition in the “Youth Initiatives” category
Dariia Lavreniuk is a participant in the Young Person of the Year 2026 regional competition. She is an active youth leader, president of her school's student council, and an initiator of youth projects that unite young people through creativity, volunteerism, and civic engagement.
From an early age, Dariia has been actively involved in dance, public speaking, creative competitions, academic Olympiads, and Ukrainian language contests. These experiences have helped her develop leadership skills, responsibility, confidence, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Her love for her hometown of Pokrovsk inspires her commitment to improving opportunities for young people.
As president of the student council, Dariia works to create a modern and inclusive school environment where every student can develop their talents, take initiative, and feel supported. She coordinates student self-government, organizes creative, patriotic, and charitable events, and encourages young people to become active, responsible members of their community.
Dariia believes that true leadership is measured not only by personal achievements but also by the ability to inspire others, unite people around shared goals, and create new opportunities for young people—even during the most challenging times.
