Oleksiy Vorobyov, Head of the Siversk City Military Administration, together with Serhiy Kalyan, Head of the Bakhmut District State Administration, visited the partner Onokivska rural community in Zakarpattia as part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities.”
The meeting began with a moment of silence to honor the memory of Ukraine’s fallen defenders—men and women—who gave their lives for the independence, freedom, and territorial integrity of our country.
During the meeting with Yaroslav Hrynchuk, acting head of the Onokivska Village Council, they discussed issues of further cooperation between the territorial communities and the implementation of joint initiatives.
One of the key issues was the installation of a memorial plaque in the partner community to honor the fallen defenders of the Siverska City Territorial Community.
This initiative holds significant symbolic importance. It will serve as a sign of remembrance and gratitude to our fellow countrymen and women who died defending Ukraine, as well as a symbol of unity and support between the communities of Donetsk and Zakarpattia regions.
The partnership within the national project “Side by Side: United Communities” is not only about joint projects and mutual assistance, but also an opportunity to preserve memory, support one another, and work together for the future of Ukraine.
We remember each and every one of them. We honor their heroism. Side by side—toward Victory!
