Participant in the regional competition “Young Person of the Year – 2026” “Leaders of Knowledge” category: Yegor Sypchuk
Yegor Sypchuk is a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education, a physics teacher at the Bilbasiv Secondary School, and a researcher from Donetsk Oblast. In his professional work, he combines classroom teaching, scientific research, the implementation of digital tools, and the development of educational programs.
Based on his research, Yegor has published 29 scientific papers on the digitization of education, the development of students’ research skills, and methods for teaching physics. As a trainer, he has conducted training sessions on the Microsoft Generative AI program for educators and webinars on the use of artificial intelligence in the learning process.
Yegor is also a trainer for the nonprofit organization Junior Achievement Ukraine, where he teaches young people the basics of entrepreneurship, and for the international program Girls Go Circular, which aims to develop STEM competencies and digital literacy among girls. He is currently working on the Laser Pro educational project to promote photonics and laser technologies, developing practical lab materials for schoolchildren.
In addition, Yegor Sypchuk participated in the development of the “CyberDzhura” track of the all-Ukrainian “Sokil” (“Dzhura”) competition, where he taught young people about cybersecurity, working with geographic information systems, and OSINT, for which he received awards from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. His students are regular winners of regional and national academic competitions.
