Today, male and female veterans often face the question of how to start a new career. The State Employment Service offers several specific support tools for this purpose:
A training voucher allows veterans to upgrade their skills or learn a new trade.
Vocational and technical education centers, where training in blue-collar trades is free for veterans.
Grant program Own Business /Grant/, which provides the opportunity to start your own business or expand an existing one.
The Czech humanitarian organization “People in Need” provides information about these opportunities as part of the “VIDNOVA” project, supported by the Swiss government. The more veterans and their families know about the available support, the smoother their transition from service will be.
