Ivan Prybytko, a participant in the regional “Young Person of the Year – 2026” competition in the “Leaders of Knowledge” category
Ivan Prybytko was born in the Donetsk region to a history teacher and a cultural worker. After graduating from the History Department at Tavria National University, he worked for several years at an international school in Poznań, Poland. In the summer of 2021, he returned to Ukraine and began teaching in Sloviansk, where he taught history, law, and civics.
With the outbreak of full-scale war, he shifted his teaching to an online format, focusing on developing his students’ critical thinking, media literacy, and legal awareness. Over the past two years, his students have won prizes in the All-Ukrainian legal competition “First Step to Law,” the “Legal Education of the Future” competition, and the law tournament at Mykhailo Dragomanov National University, and they have also presented research at the Oxford International Science Forum.
Ivan Prybytkiv focuses on legal education and anti-corruption awareness. In 2025, he helped organize the largest integrity lesson ever held by the National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NAZK).
As an educator, he is involved in methodological work: he has developed 116 teaching and methodological materials for teachers, was a finalist in the All-Ukrainian Forum of Law and History Teachers, and has received awards from the National Academy of Internal Affairs and the Penitentiary Academy of Ukraine.
