Participant of the Regional Competition “Young Person of the Year – 2026” in the “Guides of Knowledge” Nomination Serhii Borzenkov
The Donetsk region is represented in the “Guides of Knowledge” nomination by Serhii Borzenkov, a physical education teacher at Volnovakha Secondary School No. 7 of the Volnovakha Municipal Territorial Community and a student of the Faculty of Physical Education, Sports and Human Health at Berdiansk State Pedagogical University.
Combining teaching with higher education, Serhii introduces modern approaches to physical education, especially in the context of distance learning and martial law. During his lessons, he uses digital technologies, interactive exercises, and an individual approach, helping students maintain physical health, emotional resilience, and motivation to learn.
He is actively engaged in scientific research. In 2026, he presented a study on the use of modern fitness technologies to increase students’ physical activity during distance learning and became a winner and prize-holder of national student research competitions and academic Olympiads. He continuously improves his professional skills, participates in international scientific events, and masters innovative educational technologies and digital tools.
Serhii believes that physical education develops not only health but also character, responsibility, and self-confidence. His work is an inspiring example of dedication to education, continuous professional growth, and commitment to shaping a healthy and resilient younger generation of Ukraine.
