The Ministry of Education and Science is launching a training course for teachers from frontline and occupied territories

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, in collaboration with the Ukrainian Institute for Educational Development, is launching a comprehensive training program for teachers from frontline and temporarily occupied territories who are currently on the personnel reserve list.

The course is designed to maintain teachers’ professional qualifications during this hiatus and prepare them to resume work in de-occupied territories, according to the Ministry of Education.

The program covers the following thematic areas:

🔹 Information security: methods of protection against propaganda and information hygiene.

🔹 Psychological support: working with childhood trauma and preventing burnout.

🔹 Educational content: adapting the New Ukrainian School (NUS) to crisis conditions, overcoming learning losses, and inclusion.

🔹 Digital tools: organizing distance learning with limited resources.

The course was developed in collaboration with the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

What’s next for participants?

The online course is the first stage. The next steps include facilitated sessions, practical modules, and mastering mentoring tools.
