Donetsk Oblast is joining in the celebration of International Native Language Day with a creative initiative – an open essay marathon entitled ‘The world speaks the language of freedom’. The event is organised by the Donetsk Regional Educational and Methodological Centre for Culture with the support of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Regional State Administration.
The aim of the marathon is to highlight the beauty, richness and significance of the native language and its ability to unite people in different parts of the world. Everyone is welcome to participate in the event.
Creative works in the form of essays, videos or presentations will be accepted until 20 February 2026 at the following email address: [email protected].
The best entries will be published on 21 February on the official Facebook page of the educational and methodological centre under the hashtag #МовоюВільнихГоворитьСвіт.
