Volodymyr Proskunin, head of the Mykolaiv City Military Administration, arrived in the Turya-Remeta community of Zakarpattia Oblast and presented the outpost community to the partner community. This meeting marked the beginning of close cooperation between the communities within the framework of the third wave of the "Side by Side: United Communities" project.
At the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Turye-Remety village council of Uzhhorod district and the Mykolaiv city territorial community.
Together with the head of the Turya-Remeta community, Nadiya Devitska, they discussed the key tasks that are on the agenda of the outpost community today. The head of Mykolaiv MVA presented the activities of all municipal institutions and enterprises, and emphasized the problems that need to be solved.
The meeting was attended by deputies, starostas of starosta districts, heads of departments of the Turya-Remeta village council, and activists who provided comprehensive information about the community's capabilities and expressed their vision of the main areas of future cooperation.
They emphasized the possibilities of using the tourist and recreational potential of the partner community to set up tent camps, hold joint competitions of the Sokil (Dzhura) sports game, improve children's health, etc.
The speech of the ASC head proved that the experience of providing administrative services to the population is positive and can be mutually applied in the communities. The implementation of best practices by the Department of Social Protection and Healthcare, Education, Culture, Youth and Sports in terms of support and accommodation of temporarily displaced persons from the areas of hostilities, military personnel and their families, and children with special needs is noteworthy.
The meeting was dominated by an atmosphere of openness and willingness to help solve problematic issues. In conclusion, the head of the partner community thanked for the joint fruitful work that brings peace closer and promotes the development of friendly partnerships in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
