As part of the national project “Side by Side: United Communities,” the Myrnenska and Velykoluchkivska communities held a joint online photo campaign called “Book Shot,” dedicated to All-Ukrainian Library Day.
Participants shared photos with books, showcasing their favorite titles and their personal attitudes toward reading. This format provided an opportunity for residents of the two communities to connect, exchange reading preferences, and once again draw attention to the importance of libraries.
Libraries today remain vital hubs of culture, education, and community. They provide access to knowledge and information, foster an interest in reading, organize cultural and educational events, and help preserve Ukraine’s cultural heritage.
The “Book Frame” photo campaign provided yet another opportunity to unite communities around books and demonstrate that reading remains an important part of everyday life.
