The “Kleban-Byk” Regional Landscape Park announces the launch of the online contest “Eco-Fashion from Waste” (Upcycling Fashion).
Did you know that an ordinary plastic cup or an old newspaper can become a haute couture piece? We invite you to challenge stereotypes, let your imagination run wild, and prove that an eco-friendly lifestyle is incredibly stylish!
Create a unique outfit, dress, or original accessory using only recycled materials. Materials for inspiration:
✔️ plastic bottles, cups, and lids,
✔️ old newspapers, magazines, boxes, and cardboard,
✔️ packaging materials, bags, and candy wrappers,
✔️ fabric scraps or old clothes you were planning to throw away.
How to participate?
1️⃣ Create your upcycling masterpiece.
2️⃣ Take a high-quality photo or record a short video (up to 1 minute) showing off your creation.
3️⃣ Send the photo and/or video via Messenger to the “Kleban-Byk” community page at https://www.facebook.com/kleban.byk.rest
4️⃣ Be sure to include your last name, first name, the school you attend, and the specific types of waste used to create your outfit in the caption.
Submission period: July 3 through August 31, 2026.
Creators of eco-costumes will receive certificates of participation.
