On February 12, the regional administration's department for veteran policy held a working meeting with the participation of district administrations and district military administrations. During the meeting, they discussed the coordination of military administrations' activities regarding the implementation of veteran policy at the local level.

The event was attended by heads of structural units on veteran policy issues from district state administrations and district military administrations. These structural units have been created in each district.

During the meeting, the following issues were considered:

coordination of the work of military administrations on the implementation of veteran policy at the local level;

staffing of structural units on veteran policy issues of district state administrations and district military administrations.

Particular attention was paid to ensuring proper interaction between executive authorities, local self-government bodies, and other institutions involved in supporting war veterans, their family members, and family members of deceased defenders of Ukraine.

Following the meeting, priority steps were identified to strengthen coordination at the district level, and tasks were outlined for further improvement of mechanisms for implementing veteran policy.

Such working meetings contribute to the establishment of effective interagency cooperation, increased coordination of actions at the local level, and the formation of a unified approach to the implementation of state veteran policy.
