Providing young people with affordable housing and supporting internally displaced persons remain among the key priorities of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
As part of the implementation of regional youth policy, the Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Shevchenko, held a working meeting with Nataliia Plis, Head of the ‘Eastern Dnipro Regional Office’ of the State Youth Housing Agency.
During the meeting, they discussed the current status and prospects for the implementation of preferential youth lending programmes in the Donetsk region.
Particular attention was paid to finding effective mechanisms for providing housing support to internally displaced persons who have lost their homes due to the war and require assistance from the state and regional authorities.
The next step will be to hold a meeting with the heads of the military administrations of settlements in the Donetsk region. At this meeting, they plan to identify specific mechanisms for implementing youth lending programmes and securing their funding at local level.
The Donetsk Regional State Administration continues to work on creating opportunities for young people and supporting residents of the region who find themselves in difficult circumstances.
