The local Ukrainian community in Baltimore has been holding this festival for 50 years.
It is a special space where different generations of Ukrainians meet: those who left their homeland due to the war, and those who were born in America but preserved the Ukrainian language, culture, traditions, and a sense of belonging to their people.
"It is extremely important for us to see that Ukraine lives far beyond its borders — in families, community centers, songs, memory, and daily support for our state.
The Ukrainian community of Baltimore has been helping Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war and continues to stand beside our people.
I sincerely thank all Ukrainians in Baltimore for keeping your roots alive, supporting Ukraine, and reminding the world that distance does not make us any less united," emphasized Vadym Filashkin.
