To mark World Poetry Day, which is traditionally celebrated on March 21, the Donetsk Oblast Library for Children is announcing a regional literary quest called «Studio of Inspiration».
The aim of the event is to promote poetry, create a springtime creative mood, and encourage readers of all ages to try their hand at writing their own poems.
Participants are invited to write their own short poem (at least 4 lines), using one or more of the suggested rhymes: flowers – rejoice; dew – beauty; rays – shoots; plays – comes to life; warms – greens; rings – chimes; wings – sails; quickly – rains; adventure – weather;
take a screenshot or photo of the created poem;
send a photo of your work to [email protected] from March 13 to 19 (inclusive), indicating the participant's information.
The submitted poems will be published from March 20 to 22 (inclusive) on the library's official Facebook page. All participants will receive electronic certificates.
The organizers invite everyone to join the creative initiative and remind them that a real poem is not only about rhyme, but also about deep meaning and a special atmosphere.
