On March 12, representatives of the regional administration's department for veteran policy took part in a meeting with the families of missing servicemen, organized by the commissioner for persons missing under special circumstances.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Main Investigation Department, the Specialized Center for the Search for Persons Missing Under Special Circumstances at the Main Department of the National Police in Donetsk Region, the Donetsk Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, the State Scientific and Research Expert-Criminalistic Center, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast, and the Representative of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
During the meeting, representatives of the authorities provided the families of missing servicemen with the necessary explanations on issues within their competence and discussed current problems faced by families in searching for their relatives.
Holding such meetings is an important element of interaction between state authorities and the families of missing servicemen, as it promotes information sharing, coordination of efforts, and the provision of necessary advisory support.
