On February 26, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol. This day embodies the indomitable spirit of Ukraine, its dignity, and its unwavering faith in the return of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
On the initiative of the Donetsk Regional Palace of Children's and Youth Creativity, the campaign "Letters to Free Crimea" has begun in Donetsk Oblast and will continue until February 26. Its goal is to express support for Ukrainian political prisoners who are illegally detained in places of confinement solely for their pro-Ukrainian position, as well as for those who face oppression, threats, and restrictions of their rights on a daily basis while remaining in the temporarily occupied territory.
How to join the campaign?
Write words of support, share news from free Ukraine, or your own thoughts about the future of a de-occupied Crimea on a piece of paper.
If you wish, add thematic drawings that reveal the injustice of the illegal imprisonment of Ukrainians, or photos from your stay in Crimea before the occupation.
Post your work on the "Pozashkilya Donetsk Region" page on Facebook with the hashtags:
#листидовільногокриму2026
#ПозашкілляДонеччини
Donetsk region remembers Crimea and everyone who resists the occupation.
Crimea is Ukraine.
Let's support our people.
