Published 15 May 2026 year, 10:40

On May 14, 2026, the first meeting of the regional commission was held to decide on the classification of agricultural land plots as high-risk farming zones due to the impact of adverse natural and climatic conditions.

The meeting of the regional commission was attended by representatives of the administrative staff and structural units of the regional state administration, the Pokrovsk and Kramatorsk district state administrations, as well as the Donetsk Regional Center for Hydrometeorology, the Main Department of Statistics in the Donetsk Region, and the Main Department of the State Geocadastre in the Donetsk Region.

During the meeting, organizational issues regarding the work of the regional commission were discussed, and the functional responsibilities of its members were defined.

Additionally, at the request of one farming enterprise, a decision was made to leave the application for classifying agricultural land plots as high-risk farming zones due to the impact of adverse natural and climatic conditions without consideration, as it was deemed to have been submitted in error.

For reference: The procedure and criteria for identifying high-risk farming zones due to adverse natural and climatic conditions and/or military operations were approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 306 dated March 4, 2026.

Applications for the identification of high-risk farming zones due to the impact of adverse natural and climatic conditions must be submitted by farmers through their personal electronic account in the State Agricultural Register by July 1 of the current year. The application must be accompanied by a report on productive soil moisture reserves issued by an accredited laboratory.

The identification of high-risk farming zones due to military operations is carried out through the exchange of information between the State Emergency Service, the State Geocadastre, and the Ministry of Economy without the submission of applications by agricultural producers.
