The II (regional) stage of the All-Ukrainian children's and youth military-patriotic game "Sokil" ("Dzhura") for the younger age category took place in a distance format, organized by the Donetsk Regional Center for Tourism and Local History of Student Youth.
19 teams (152 participants) from various territorial communities of Donetsk region joined the competition: Bakhmut, Bilozersk, Velykonovosilkiv, Vuhledar, Hrodivka, Dobropillia, Kramatorsk, Kurakhove, Myrnohrad, Novodonetsk, Ocheretyne, Pokrovsk, Sviatohirsk, Selydivka, Siversk, Sloviansk, Soledar, Chasiv Yar, and Cherkasy.
The competition was held using online resources: Telegram, YouTube, Google Docs, Google Classroom, and the "Vseosvita" platform. All teams were registered in virtual classrooms, where they completed tasks in the format of online testing. The competition program included:
- "Vidun" – an intellectual quiz on the history of Ukraine;
- "Riatovnyk" – first aid;
- "Taboruvannia" – camp organization, duty, tying tourist knots;
- "Trail-orientation" – determining control points by photo.
The winners of the regional stage were:
- 1st place – team "Sokolyata" (Bakhmut General Education School I–III degrees No. 24), mentor – Olena Soroka;
- 2nd place – team "Chasovoyarsky Sokolyata" (Selydivskyi Lyceum No. 1), mentor – Oksana Zhevaho;
- 3rd place – team "HaidaMaki" (Velykonovosilkiv General Secondary Education Institution I–III degrees No. 2), mentor – Maryna Hladchenko.
The team "HaidaMaki" will represent the Donetsk region at the All-Ukrainian stage of the game, which will take place in July 2025 in the Transcarpathian region.
