The Donetsk Regional Ecology and Nature Center has summarized the results of the annual regional environmental campaign “Snowdrop,” which is traditionally held to draw attention to the issue of protecting early-blooming plants and fostering an ecological mindset among the younger generation.
This year, students from 34 local communities in the Donetsk region, as well as from the Kirovohrad, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, joined the campaign. A total of 1,044 entries were submitted to the jury.
Participants submitted creative works in three categories:
- “Protect the First Flowers” – posters and drawings with an environmental theme,
- “Snowdrop” – decorative and applied art pieces,
- “Guarding Beauty” – social videos.
The contest entries stood out for their substance, creative approach, and high level of craftsmanship. In their works, participants emphasized the need to protect spring flowers, treat nature with respect, and promote environmental education.
