The regular meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for Evacuation Measures and Effective Response to Mass Population Displacement was held online, chaired by Oleksiy Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine and Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine.
Ihor Boiko, Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, a decision was approved to expand the mandatory evacuation zone for families with children in the Donetsk region. The relevant order provides for the evacuation of children together with their parents or legal guardians from certain streets in Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, and the village of Bilenke, as well as from the entire territory of Pryvillia and Malotaranivka.
This decision was made to protect the lives and health of children amid the constant threat of enemy shelling. Local military administrations, units of the National Police, the State Emergency Service, social services, and child welfare services are involved in the evacuation efforts, providing support to people at all stages of the evacuation and ensuring their subsequent relocation to safe regions of Ukraine.
The Donetsk Regional State Administration urges parents not to delay evacuation and to take the safety of their children seriously, as their lives and health remain the highest priority.
