On July 25, an online meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk. The main topic of the meeting was the coordination of the process for providing cash assistance to households in frontline areas, enabling them to purchase fuel and cover other expenses to ensure a stable heating season in 2025–2026.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Oleksandr Shevchenko and heads of relevant structural units of the Regional State Administration.

Participants discussed key aspects of the assistance mechanism, focusing on challenges that arise during the application intake process and the formation of beneficiary lists. They also addressed issues of cooperation with international partners who are supporting this initiative.

Following the meeting, representatives of the regional state administrations were instructed to organize the process of providing this assistance to residents of frontline areas.

This support is critically important, and the Donetsk Regional State Administration, in cooperation with central authorities and international partners, is taking all necessary measures to ensure timely provision of assistance to those in need.
