A regional event dedicated to the Day of the State Emblem of Ukraine was held in Dnipro, bringing together students and teachers from Donetsk region vocational higher education institutions who are currently working in evacuation. Representatives of the Mariupol Machine-Building Vocational College of the State Higher Educational Institution "PDTU," the Kramatorsk Vocational College of Industry, Information Technology, and Business of the Dnipropetrovsk State Academy of Civil Engineering, and the Sloviansk Vocational College of Industry and Pharmacy joined the celebrations.

The guests of honor at the event were servicemen of the 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of Mariupol.

The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine. A minute of silence was observed to honor the memory of the fallen defenders and civilians.

The program was rich: Vladimir Leshin, a history teacher at the Mariupol Machine-Building Vocational College of the Priazovsky State Technical University, presented an in-depth historical exploration of the origins of the Trident. During the interactive quiz "Truth or Myth," participants had the opportunity to test their knowledge of the State Emblem of Ukraine and share their thoughts.

A special highlight was the participation in the region-wide Lesson of Indestructibility "Sacred Sign of the Nation," which was conducted by teachers from the Slovyansk Energy Construction College and teachers from the general secondary school in the village of Komar, Volnovakha District, Donetsk Region.

The final chord was struck by the Defenders, who congratulated the young people on the holiday and told them about their glorious unit and the peculiarities of service in the modern Ukrainian army.

In memory of this warm meeting, the students presented the soldiers with a handmade panel depicting the Coat of Arms of Ukraine, and the pupils of the Pokrovska School presented decorative tridents created by displaced children from Donetsk region in various cities of the country on the eve of the holiday.

Donetsk region is home to unbreakable people who, despite all the trials they have endured, preserve their Ukrainian identity and firmly believe that the moment will come when the native trident will once again shine proudly over free Mariupol, Bakhmut, Kramatorsk, and Donetsk, symbolizing our final return home.
