As part of the implementation of state policy and the Government’s priorities in the field of healthcare, the List of Medicines Eligible for Reimbursement under the “Affordable Medicines” program has been expanded.
The List now includes 7 INNs, including original innovative medicines used to treat cardiovascular diseases, prevent strokes and thrombosis, treat type 2 diabetes, and manage chronic respiratory diseases.
No treatment plans need to be created or updated in the electronic health system for these medicines.
Medicines under the program are available at 17,348 pharmacies nationwide. You can find a pharmacy on the NSZU dashboard “Electronic Map of Locations Dispensing Medicines by E-Prescription.”
The current List of Medicines and Medical Devices as of April 30, 2026, is available on the NSZU website: https://nszu.gov.ua/gromadianam/dostupni-liki-povnii-perelik
Currently, including the latest update, it contains 778 items:

- 59 insulin preparations;
- 34 combination preparations;
- 36 medical devices (test strips).
Of these, 284 are completely free for the patient, and 494 require a partial copayment.
