In Kropyvnytskyi, at the relocated Donetsk Regional Center for Tourism and Local History for Schoolchildren, a creative master class dedicated to the Day of Dignity and Freedom was held for displaced children from Donetsk Oblast.

The center's teacher explained in a way that was accessible and understandable to children why this day is important for all Ukrainians — because it reminds us of our European choice and our desire to live in a free democratic state.

After a short discussion, the children moved on to the practical part. A master class was held for the participants, during which each child had the opportunity to make a decorative horseshoe charm with their own hands. The children worked with jute thread, formed the base of the horseshoe, wrapped it, creating a dense and neat shape, and then decorated the product with ribbons, small flowers, beads, and viburnum accents.

The atmosphere was friendly ad inspiring — each horseshoe turned out to be unique in its own way, and the children took the finished products home as a pleasant reminder of their participation in the event.

May the horseshoes created with their own hands become a reliable talisman for the young participants of the event and a reminder of warm communication among friends.
