Olena Prykhodchenko – participant in the 2025 regional competition “Woman of Donetsk Region,” nominated in the category “Creator of Change and Opportunities”
Olena Prykhodchenko represents the Mangush community in Donetsk Region. She is a teacher, director of an art school, organizer of cultural and social projects, volunteer, and guardian of Ukrainian traditions. Her activities bring people together around art, support for children, and the community, even in the most difficult times.
In over 30 years of teaching, Olena has helped hundreds of children believe in themselves and unlock their creative potential. Under her leadership, the art school has become an important center of creativity and inspiration for the community. Even during the war and occupation of Mangush, she was able to keep her team of teachers together and organize online and offline classes so that students could continue their creative development and participate in competitions.
Olena is an active volunteer: she conducts art therapy classes for internally displaced persons, organizes charity events in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and brings joy and creativity to children from Donetsk region in various cities of Ukraine. She is convinced that “art is a light that helps us survive even the darkest times.”
Her story is a symbol of dedication, humanity, and strength of spirit. Olena Prikhodchenko proves that women can be creators of change and opportunities, unite people, inspire, and give hope. Supporting such women means supporting goodness, culture, and the future of the Mangush community.
