Maryna Martynenko was born and raised in Druzhkivka. Today, she is a project manager at the International Charitable Foundation Caritas Ukraine, a practical psychologist and trainer who confidently turns the challenges of war into new opportunities for children, teachers, and parents.
Her professional path is a story of sincere devotion to people. She started out as a psychologist at Caritas Kramatorsk, helping children who had survived shelling and forced displacement. Later, she headed large-scale psychosocial support projects in education, which today cover 36 schools in three regions of Ukraine. Thanks to her initiatives, more than 12,000 children, 900 parents, and 1,500 teachers have been given space for development, recovery, and mutual support.
Maryna creates an environment where children learn to overcome crises through play and creativity, where parents learn positive parenting skills, and where teachers gain knowledge and tools to maintain their own resilience. Her author's methodology "Mental Health: The Superhero's Way" has already been recognized internationally and is being successfully implemented not only in Ukraine but also in Poland and Romania.
Maryna's values are integrity, unity, mutual assistance and creative vision. She inspires her team and communities to take bold actions, proving that even a small step can change lives. "Even the most difficult challenges can be turned into opportunities for growth if you act boldly and responsibly," she believes.
