The State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine announces the acceptance of journalistic works for the Ivan Franko Prize in the field of information activities. The acceptance of works will last from March 2 to May 1, 2026.
In accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Award, new original journalistic works that contribute to the affirmation of historical memory, national consciousness, and the identity of the Ukrainian people, aimed at state-building and the democratization of society, are eligible for participation.
Works must have been published in their final form within the last three years, but no later than six months before their nomination for the Award.
The Award is presented annually on Ivan Franko's birthday, August 27, in the amount of 10,000 hryvnia in the following categories:
- best publication in print media;
- best work in television;
- best work in radio broadcasting;
- best scientific work in the field of information.
Please note that the same candidate cannot be nominated for the Award with two or more works at the same time.
To participate, you must submit:
- an application for the Award with a brief description of the publication (work) and its author(s);
- a copy of the work on a physical medium with confirmation of its publication;
- a copy of your passport (if a team is nominated for the Award, copies of the passports of each member).
